I am Gisela, a Dance Movement Therapist (DMT) with years of experience supporting children with special educational needs in various schools across Barcelona.

My vocation is to guide students through their growth, helping them learn from a place of trust and security. I understand that every child has a unique pace and way of processing information; therefore, my work consists of providing support tailored to their individual abilities.

How do I work?

Empathy and total adaptation: I identify the needs of each child according to their developmental stage and personalize academic content (experiential learning, emotional support, and school reinforcement).

Motivation and patience: My priority is for the student to feel capable. We work to boost their self-esteem and improve concentration, finding the drive and the method that motivates them to reach the established goals.

My background as an added value:
I am a Dance Movement Therapist (Master’s from UAB) and hold degrees in Nutrition and Food Science. This allows me to offer a holistic view of health and child development, and I can also work within these areas if you are interested.
