I am a qualified Visual Arts teacher with experience teaching across National Curricular and IB programmes. My lessons are designed to balance technical skill development with conceptual thinking, helping students build both confidence and strong academic outcomes.
In our sessions, I typically combine practical art-making (including drawing, painting, and sculpture) with guided discussion, critique, and portfolio development. I support students in refining their ideas, strengthening their technical execution, and developing a clear, personal visual language. For exam-based courses, I also provide structured guidance on coursework, assessment criteria, and portfolio presentation.
My approach is highly tailored to each student. I take time to understand their goals, whether that is improving grades, building a portfolio for university applications, or developing foundational skills, and adapt lessons accordingly. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable taking creative risks while also being challenged to improve.
