I am a friendly, patient and motivated GCSE Science tutor currently studying a biomedical science degree at university I have a strong understanding of Biology, Chemistry and Physics at GCSE level and I am passionate about helping students build confidence, improve grades and enjoy science rather than fear it.

My lessons are well-structured but flexible, and always tailored to each student’s ability and learning style. We start by identifying strengths, weaknesses and exam board requirements, then create a clear plan to target the topics that need the most improvement. I explain concepts step by step in a simple and clear way, using real-life examples to make difficult topics easier to understand.

Lessons usually include:

• Exam-style questions with full feedback
• Tips on exam technique, command words and common mistakes

I strongly focus on exam preparation, helping students understand how to answer questions effectively, gain method marks and apply their knowledge confidently. I am happy to slow things down, repeat explanations, or approach topics in different ways until the student fully understands.

I am patient, supportive and encouraging, and I always aim to create a calm, positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I understand that everyone learns at a different pace, and my goal is to help students feel proud of their progress and more confident in their abilities.
