Music is a journey, and the best way to enjoy it is by building a strong foundation. That’s why my lessons focus on general musicianship while staying flexible to each student’s needs. I’ve been teaching for over four years, and I know that no two learners are the same. Some want to play for fun, others want to dive deep — so I shape each lesson to fit your goals. My approach is always learner-centred, simple, and practical, making sure you feel supported while growing your skills.
When it comes to music theory, I keep things fun and easy. No dry memorising! Instead, we’ll use clapping games, short creative tasks, and real songs to show how theory actually works. We’ll try different approaches until everything makes sense. By the end, you’ll feel confident, creative, and excited to use theory in the music you love.
I also like to keep lessons interactive so you’re never just listening to me talk. We’ll work through exercises together, ask questions, and even laugh when something feels tricky — because music should never feel intimidating. You’ll get clear explanations, fun and simple examples, and space to practice at your own pace. Over time, you’ll notice how concepts that once felt difficult start to feel natural and even exciting. My goal is for every student to not only understand music theory but also enjoy it as part of their personal music journey. With patience, encouragement, and creativity, we’ll make each lesson something you look forward to.
