Hi! I’m a friendly, patient, and enthusiastic tutor who is passionate about helping students not only achieve their academic goals but also develop a genuine interest in the subjects they study. I believe that learning is most effective when students are engaged, enjoy the process, and feel confident asking questions. My aim is to create lessons that are supportive, interactive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs, so they can build both knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject.

I have experience supporting students in both classroom and one-to-one settings. As a voluntary classroom assistant for a tutoring company, I helped students work through class activities, explained challenging concepts, and marked their work to provide constructive feedback. This role taught me how to adapt my explanations to suit different learning styles and encourage students to think independently.

I have also worked as a private A-Level Maths tutor, where I created a personalised teaching schedule based on my student’s strengths and areas for improvement. I planned structured lessons, broke down difficult topics into manageable steps, and used exam-style questions to strengthen understanding and confidence. Watching my student grow in both ability and self-belief reinforced how rewarding tutoring can be.

My lessons are structured but flexible, with a focus on making learning engaging rather than overwhelming. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and actively participate in lessons.
