My maths lessons are designed to be calm, confidence-building, and completely personalised.

No two learners are the same, so I don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach. Every session is planned around the individual — their ability level, learning style, pace, and personal goals. Whether a learner needs extra support, exam preparation, or a confidence boost, I adapt each lesson to meet their needs.

A typical session includes:

- A friendly check-in – we start by talking about what they find difficult and what’s gone well, so I can adjust the lesson instantly.

- Clear, step-by-step teaching – I break concepts down into small, manageable chunks using simple explanations and visual methods.

- Guided practice – we work through examples together, building confidence before moving on to independent work.

- Positive feedback and encouragement – mistakes are part of learning, and I use them to help students grow.

- Progress tracking – I regularly review understanding and adapt lessons so learners can clearly see their improvement.

For learners with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), I use flexible strategies, patience, and supportive resources to make learning accessible and stress-free.

My goal is not just to improve results, but to help learners believe in themselves and feel capable in maths.
