Gargi Ghose

I'm Gargi. I've been teaching English in Ecuador since 2017. Being a teacher of English has been a great journey. We not only teach but learn in the process. We coordinate with people and also know about ourselves. I studied English literature and language in India. I got a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in English. I am passionate about teaching.
I use communicative approach in teaching and learning process and try to create an interactive learning environment where students get a chance to express themselves and their creativity and vocal their ideas.
I try to make the topics easier to explain so that, the students don't face difficulties in understanding. The classes are normally followed by practice exercises as quizzes or games etc.
Moreover, I'm pursuing an online 180-hour TEFL course online from MoED. That's helping me a lot to cope with the new way of learning.
It has been a great experience teaching and learning online and offline. Because not only my students,but also I could learn how to deal with the differences between online and offline classes. I focus on all the skills.
Other than that, I try to repeat the topics if a student remains absent so that he/she doesn't miss out on any topic.
I'm dedicated to share my knowledge with the students. According to me, a student should know how to tackle a situation, analyse, criticise - a given situation.
I intend to impart that knowledge so that they can definitely grow and use their knowledge that they acquire in the future.
