I am new to teaching, but have been an artist all my life. This spark of creativity started around the age of 3, where I picked up a pencil for the first time. My skillset is varied, mostly focusing on drawing, painting and mixed media. Symmetry and detail are key areas of my work and I can help students develop their eye for detail. Whilst I do not have a degree in art, I can follow curriculums and offer feedback on portfolios.
My lessons vary based on the individual, but can revolve around certain topics or techniques, as well as specific learning. I reward curiosity and trying new things, as well as taking bold leaps into the unknown. I think these things are very important in the creative process and key to learning new skills and techniques.
I can also offer more traditional style lessons if the student wants this, these can be formatted to suit the student.
I have been practising art as a professional for the last 7 years and have exhibited in various places around the UK.
