An online lesson combines the benefits of technology and personalized instruction to create an engaging and effective learning experience. Lessons will take place on Microsoft Teams allowing for real-time audio and video communication between myself and the student. The lesson will begin with a warm welcome and an overview of the topics or objectives to be covered during the session. Clear learning goals will be set to ensure that both the student and the tutor have a shared understanding of what will be accomplished. Lesson content will be interactive and engaging. using multimedia resources, such as slideshows, videos, or interactive whiteboards, to present information and explain concepts clearly. Instruction will be tailored to the specific needs of the student, adapted to their teaching methods to accommodate the student's learning style, pace, and level of understanding. Critical thinking will be encouraged to guide the student towards discovering solutions independently whenever possible. To reinforce learning, the tutor will provide opportunities for the student to practice newly acquired skills or apply concepts to real-world scenarios. This may involve solving problems, completing exercises, or engaging in hands-on activities, depending on the subject matter. Periodic assessments will take place to gauge the student's progress and understanding through formative assessments, quizzes, or interactive activities. This allows both myself and the student to gauge comprehension and identify areas that may require further attention or review. Constructive feedback and guidance to the student will be offered, highlighting their strengths and areas for improvement. They will offer specific suggestions for enhancing understanding, study techniques, or additional resources to support independent learning. At the end of the lesson, we will summarize the key concepts covered and review the progress made.
