I believe the best way to learn is through practice! Hence why I provide my students with guided teaching and tailor my lessons to their needs by identifying what topics or concepts they struggle the most with. I have found with my previous tutor experience that this is the best way for students to be able to replicate their learning in an exam-style environment, although lessons will not be as intense! Through guided practice I hope to teach students that they can become independent in their learning and can achieve any grade they desire as long as they put work and effort into their studies. If a student is struggling with a topic in particular I make sure to spend some time out of the lesson to properly teach the concept/topic. I tailor each experience to each student that I take on, meaning that I allow YOU to tell me what you would like to learn or what you would like to spend more time learning about! I was once in the same position as you, a student who was struggling to keep up in class and had to spend some time on certain concept, so I completely understand the stress of not understanding a topic in class. However, I was able to grow in the student that I am now and pass all of my exams with amazing grades!
