Gabriela Calza

My name is Gabriela Calza, and I am a Public Relations professional with a degree from Faculdade
Cásper Líbero (2021), one of Brazil’s leading institutions in the field of communication. I am writing to express my interest in joining your team, where I hope to contribute with my communication skills, international experience, and passion for connecting with people.
My professional background includes diverse experiences in press relations, social media management, internal communication, and event planning. I have worked with media outreach, content creation, journalist engagement, spokesperson support, and the production of performance reports—all of which are detailed in my attached CV.
In addition to my work in Brazil, I spent one year volunteering at a catholic retreat centre in Alton, England, where I was responsible for the safety, wellbeing, and spiritual support of young people aged 7 to 25. This role involved leading outdoor activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and for that I obtained certifications in First Aid, Safeguarding, Archery, Biking, and others. This international experience deepened my love for the English language and cross-cultural
communication, which led me to work as an English teacher upon returning to Brazil.
I have also contributed to translation projects, including the adaptation of websites and the
translation of a book by Brazilian author João Calazans, from Portuguese to English, and have been
through a course named “From bilingual to translator” at the end of 2024, to help improve the skills
needed for a relevant translation. These opportunities have strengthened my appreciation for the role of language in making communication accessible and meaningful.
I bring not only technical knowledge and hands-on experience, but also a proactive attitude, empathy, creativity, and strong organizational skills. I am enthusiastic about learning and contributing to communication in its many forms.
