My belief when tutoring is that I am there to support you, if I just give you all of the answers then you will not learn anything. I act as as a guide to help you through problems and provide support so that you can understand the concept of what you are doing. There are many different methods for this as every person learns in a unique way, however I believe that breaking something down into its fundamental components and understanding that will allow you to build it back up in a way that you understand. This means that regardless of how they word the problems you will always be able to tackle them.
I am also a firm believer in interactive learning, asking questions and creating analogies, especially for science will make it a far less daunting problem. I believe that if you can enjoy what you are learning, you will always be successful.
