Francesca is a highly motivated and versatile tutor with three college degrees, including Biomedical Science and Nursing, and over a decade of combined experience in healthcare, education, and mentoring. She specialises in teaching Biology and related science subjects, supporting students from middle and high school through to university level. Her background as both a nurse and a biomedical scientist allows her to explain complex scientific concepts in ways that are clear, practical, and relevant to real-world applications.
She has taught a wide range of learners—from children in elementary schools and youth organisations in the USA, to adolescents and university-level adults as a teaching assistant and private tutor. This breadth of experience has given her the ability to adapt her teaching style to each student’s unique needs, whether they require structured exam preparation, help with coursework, or confidence-building in challenging subjects.
Francesca’s approach is student-centred, supportive, and engaging. She breaks down difficult topics into manageable steps, uses real-life examples and analogies to make material memorable, and encourages active participation so students don’t just memorise information but truly understand it.
