I am a native Mandarin speaker with over seven years of teaching experience, including four years at The Dalton School in Toronto and private tutoring since 2023.

I teach speaking, listening, reading, writing, pinyin, pronunciation, and Chinese culture. My lessons are personalized to each student’s age, level, interests, and goals, whether they are beginners, improving their conversation skills, or preparing for the HSK.

My approach is interest-first: I use real-life conversations, games, stories, videos, and role-playing to make learning enjoyable and practical. I am patient and encouraging, providing clear explanations and supportive feedback to help students build confidence and use Mandarin in everyday life.
