My services are aimed towards GCSE and A-level pupils of all abilities and ages. Lessons will generally be a hour in length, however I'm able to adjust if pre-arranged. Before each lesson I will contact the pupil to find what topics they are currently struggling with in the classroom and focus on this. However, if they are not struggling with their current classroom topics I will find content from their math exam board specification which they are not currently confident with and base the lesson around that. During the sessions I’ll utilise a touch screen and pen to write which allows for pupils to see my calculations and collaborate throughout the session.
I’m currently a Whitewater Raft Guide during the summer, where I have gained a lot of teaching experience. I also have experience with teaching maths is from helping my friends within school during lessons and free periods, my willingness to help out fellow pupils was recognised by teachers and ultimately helped my achieve the role of Head Boy in sixth form.
