Every lesson is built around you — before we start, I like to understand what you're working on in school or college, what's clicking and what isn't, so we're never wasting time on things you've already nailed. Lessons run online via video call with a shared digital whiteboard, so it feels just like sitting side by side with a pen and paper, except I can pull up diagrams, past exam questions, or worked examples instantly.

A typical session might start with a quick recap of tricky homework, move into explaining a new concept step by step, and finish with practice questions I talk you through in real time — so you're never stuck without support. For exam years, we'll build in past papers and mark schemes tailored to your specific exam board, whether that's AQA, Edexcel, or OCR, so you know exactly what examiners are looking for and how marks are awarded. For younger or more curious students, I'm happy to go beyond the syllabus if a topic sparks genuine interest — I think the best lessons feel like a conversation, not a lecture.

I keep things relaxed but focused: it's fine to ask "silly" questions, and it's fine to get things wrong — that's how we find out what to work on next. Whatever your starting point, my aim is to help you leave every lesson feeling a little more confident, more capable, and genuinely a bit more excited about the subject than when we began.
