I’m a Master’s student in Computer Science at the University of Nottingham with a strong and rigorous academic background in Mathematics. I achieved an A in A-Level Maths and all of my GCSEs were grade 7 or above, including Mathematics. Over the past five years I have been tutoring online, supporting students of various backgrounds with GCSE and A-Level Maths.
My teaching style is clear, concise, patient and structured. I focus on helping students truly understand the material, difficult or easy, rather than simply memorising methods. In lessons we identify and talk about any gaps in knowledge, break topics down into manageable steps, work through carefully chosen examples, and practise exam-style questions. I adapt the pace and explanations to each student’s needs so they feel comfortable asking questions and gradually build both skill and confidence.
Lessons are fully online and can be arranged flexibly around school or other commitments. Whether a student or pupil needs help catching up, preparing for exams, or simply wants to feel more secure in the subject, I create a supportive and encouraging environment. I have experience explaining both mathematical concepts and core Computer Science ideas (including programming fundamentals) in a way that is accessible and practical.
I am reliable, approachable and genuinely enjoy helping students make progress. If you would like to discuss your goals, current challenges, or simply try a first lesson, please feel free to message me. I look forward to hearing from you, whether it is in the morning, evening or the afternoon!
