To teach the English Language to young learners, first, I have to make them comfortable when they speak to me and when they speak in English. For me to do that, I have a technique called "the rule of 3". Every first meeting is very important for me and the students, this is the time where we introduce each other and apply the rule of 3. First, we have to test the auditory or listening skills of the student by letting them listen to you and giving them a chance to speak and ask questions after. Secondly, we test the visual of the student by letting them read and write some sentences and having them identify the right grammar and punctuations. Lastly, we determine their knowledge of understanding by making the students practice the lessons 1&2 by giving them a set of sentences to practice on.
