Hi, I just did my GCSEs and offering Maths & Science tutoring to primary, KS3 and GCSE students.
My lessons are friendly, supportive and tailored to each student’s needs. I use PowerPoints, visuals, worked examples and practice questions to explain topics clearly and work through the curriculum step by step.
I can help with understanding difficult topics, schoolwork, revision and exam-style questions. I encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson and make sure they understand the topic before moving on.
I also leave the final 10 minutes for any questions or doubts the student may have. Students and parents can email me between lessons if they have any questions, and I will reply when I can, either helping by email or discussing it in the next lesson. I can also provide extra exercises to build confidence, strengthen understanding and improve exam performance.
As I have recently completed my GCSEs and am now studying A-level Maths, Art and Physics, I understand the challenges students face and the importance of making difficult topics easier to understand. I can share useful revision techniques and exam strategies that helped me during my own GCSEs.
I want every student to feel comfortable and ask questions, even if they feel they are stuck or don’t understand something straight away I will be patient and explain them the topic in different ways until it makes sense. My aim is to make lessons positive and engaging to help students become more confident and independent in their learning.
