My lessons in Philosophy, Ethics, Religious Studies, and Spanish are structured, analytical, and student-centred. I aim to create an environment where students feel both intellectually challenged and genuinely supported.
In Philosophy and Ethics, sessions focus on developing clear reasoning and strong argumentation skills. We break down complex ideas into manageable steps, analyse key scholars, compare opposing views, and practise constructing well-structured essays. I place particular emphasis on exam technique for GCSE and A-Level: how to build evaluation, integrate scholars effectively, and write with precision and depth.
Religious Studies lessons combine accurate knowledge with critical thinking. Students learn to move beyond description by linking doctrine, philosophical arguments, and ethical applications. I encourage discussion, debate, and independent thought while ensuring answers remain focused on assessment objectives.
Spanish lessons are dynamic and immersive. Depending on level, we work on grammar foundations, vocabulary building, translation skills, and fluent conversation. I prioritise pronunciation, confidence, and cultural understanding alongside exam preparation where relevant.
Each lesson follows a clear structure: recap, new content, guided practice, and exam-style application. However, I adapt pacing and focus to individual goals and learning styles.
My teaching experience includes private tutoring for GCSE, A-Level, and adult learners. Above all, I help students gain clarity, confidence, and the ability to express complex ideas with accuracy and sophistication.
