As a home based teacher I create my lessons that will catch the attention of my student. It is not all about giving instruction and directions but also giving entertainment for a student to be able to avoid boredom and sleepy head. One of my strategy is to used flash card game or to used materials that is connected to the lesson but in a way that is creative and produce learnings as well to the student. The techniques of a teacher depends on the likeness and characteristics of a student not forgetting that I'm a home-based teacher I need to gain the attention of my student in order to proceed and fulfill my task. It's very hard in the first place but I get used to it because I used different format like flash card, info graphic, digital mode of learning and many more that is easy to understand of course. Nevertheless, it's very important to a teacher to look approachable and dependable so that a student will not be afraid to ask for the part of the lesson that they do not understand. Teaching must have strategy in delivering knowledge to a student effectively and efficiently to be able to develop and improve their critical thinking, skills and fullest potential. The contributions that I embark to my students that I have is not only to focus in intelligence but also to teach them how to respect, behave and treat other with right manner.
