My maths lessons are structured, supportive, and focused on helping students truly understand the subject rather than memorising steps. Each lesson is carefully planned around the student’s level, exam board, and specific goals, whether that’s building confidence, improving grades, or aiming for top marks.

I teach every topic by breaking it down into clear subtopics and tackling them one step at a time. For each subtopic, I explain the key ideas from the ground up, making sure the foundations are solid before moving on. Every question is worked through step by step, with clear reasoning for each stage so students understand not just what to do, but why they are doing it. I actively encourage questions and adapt my explanations until everything makes sense.

Once a method is understood, we reinforce it through carefully selected practice questions, gradually increasing in difficulty. I place a strong emphasis on exam-style questions, using past paper and exam-board-specific problems to ensure maximum exam coverage. This helps students recognise patterns, apply methods confidently under exam conditions, and avoid common mistakes.

Throughout my tutoring, I focus on building problem-solving skills, accuracy, and exam technique. I also regularly review progress and revisit weaker areas to ensure long-term improvement. My goal is to make maths feel manageable, logical, and achievable, while giving students the tools they need to succeed in their exams.

Despite the age that I am currently at, I can guarantee an improvement in the student's understanding of the subject that I am teaching to them.
