My teaching method is built around communication, confidence, and real-life application. As a native Portuguese speaker from Brazil, I focus on helping students learn the language in a natural and practical way, the same way people actually speak in daily life.

Although I come from a background in banking, where I worked for over 8 years at Banco Bradesco, my professional experience has strongly shaped my approach to teaching. Working closely with clients taught me patience, clarity in communication, and the ability to adapt my style to different personalities and needs. I bring these skills directly into my lessons.

My method is conversation-first. I believe students learn faster when they start speaking early, even with simple vocabulary. I guide students step by step, correcting gently and building confidence as they progress. Grammar is always included, but in a practical and contextual way, never overwhelming or disconnected from real use.

I also use my international experience — having travelled to over 20 countries — to bring cultural context into lessons. This helps students understand not only the language, but also how Portuguese is used in different situations and cultures.

Every lesson is personalised. I adapt to each student’s goals, whether it is travel, work, or personal interest. My focus is always to create a relaxed and supportive environment where learning feels natural, engaging, and enjoyable.
