Felicity Parker

I am currently offering tutoring for primary school children, specialising in 11+ tutoring, and secondary school children, specialising in GCSE English Literature preparation. I took the 11+ myself and have a direct understanding of the process, I have a grade 8 in my English Literature GCSE and am currently taking higher English Literature IB, and hope to study it at university. Lessons with me are engaging and focus on making you more confident in your knowledge and ability to convey your thoughts in essay form. Lessons with me are adaptable to whatever you are studying and will work on exam technique, author’s intentions, and context. This will help students gain exam results that they need! I am able to tutor up to year 11 including primary school years. I tutor all subjects for primary school children and tutor English Literature for students up to year 11. Not only will I go over the basics of what examiners want to see in your papers, but I work directly with tutees on their confidence and ability to excel in their exams. I work well with children and have been babysitting for the past 2 years and am able to make quick connections to allow for better learning as the tutee will learn better when in a comfortable environment. Additionally, I work with younger years in my school to help feel more confident in their exam years and am very capable to help other students outside of my school in their preparation and general school life.
