My lessons are designed to be engaging, practical, and highly interactive. With over 15 years of experience in higher education, I focus on building both subject knowledge and the skills students need to succeed in their academic and professional lives. Using real world examples each lesson follows a structured but flexible format. I begin with clear objectives so students know what they will achieve by the end of the session. I then introduce the topic through short explanations, real-world examples, and questions that encourage students to think critically. Group discussions, problem-solving activities, and case studies form a central part of my teaching, as they allow students to apply theory to practice and learn from each other.
I also incorporate multimedia, role-plays, and business simulations to keep lessons dynamic and engaging. For example, marketing topics may involve analysing real campaigns, while business strategy sessions might include developing competitive plans for hypothetical companies. Students are encouraged to participate actively, and I provide constructive feedback that helps them refine their ideas and communication skills.
My experience spans teaching business, marketing, and finance modules at both undergraduate, postgraduate and company levels, as well as leading academic teams and delivering transformation projects. This background allows me to bring industry insight and academic rigour into the classroom.
Above all, my engaging lessons are student-centred: I value questions, encourage curiosity, and adapt to different learning styles. By the end of each session, students not only understand the content but also feel confident applying it in real-world contexts.
