Farida Majiyagbe

With A*s in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and EPQ A levels, 7A*s and an A in IGCSEs, and knowledge from my current course (Medicine MBBS at Imperial College London), I believe I have lots of wisdom to offer on the topics I am most passionate about! I understand the nuances of studying and the varying needs of students, so I am extremely flexible in my teaching methods and resources. I offer a free first lesson and an opportunity to cancel lessons altogether if my style doesn't quite seem to match yours. I can also offer tips on university/ college applications if needed.
Having left my A level and GCSE struggles behind not so long ago, I am very empathetic to the challenges of these periods in life, and the issues associated with the sudden learning changes within that four year period. I offer up to date and relevant material on the processes, the journey, and the coping mechanisms.
Being the eldest cousin on both sides, and with 3 years professional experience as a nanny, I am also well equipped to help out with the little ones.
I am your tutor, mentor and friend all in one, if you need it! I am also willing to meet in person (in your home, a library, a cafe, wherever!) or host longer sessions for consolidation closer to exam times. My lesson structure can be centred around practice questions, explanations, or just a space to ask questions (no question is ever silly!), depending on the needs of the student.
