Having achieved three A*s in Mathematics, Physics, and Economics, and an A in Further Mathematics at A level, alongside twelve grade 9s and one grade 8 at GCSE, I have developed both a strong academic foundation and a genuine passion for helping others understand mathematics in a clear and intuitive way.
I am a two-time UKMT Senior Mathematical Challenge Gold award recipient, which has deepened my appreciation for the creative and logical sides of problem-solving. Beyond academic success, I have practical teaching experience both in the UK and abroad, having volunteered in Cambodia, where I taught children from a range of backgrounds, and in a UK primary school, where I supported pupils in developing core numeracy and confidence. These experiences taught me how to adapt my teaching style to suit individual learners, communicate complex ideas simply, and create a positive learning environment.
My approach to tutoring focuses on helping students see the reasoning behind the methods, not just the steps. I believe mathematics should be intuitive, and I aim to guide students toward understanding concepts deeply enough to apply them flexibly and confidently in unfamiliar contexts.
I would be delighted to bring my enthusiasm, academic strength, and teaching experience to you. I am confident that my combination of subject mastery and patient communication can help students not only achieve their goals but also appreciate the beauty and logic of mathematics.
