About Me:

Hello, my name is Fareeha, and I offer online maths tuition for students studying at GCSE level and below. I believe that maths doesn’t have to feel overwhelming, and with the right support, every student can build confidence and make real progress. My lessons are designed to be clear, structured, and encouraging so that you not only understand the methods but also feel motivated to keep improving.

Lesson Format:

The way I structure my lessons is simple but effective. I start by identifying the areas you find most challenging, whether that’s algebra, fractions, percentages, ratios, or exam-style problem solving. From there, I guide you step by step through the process of tackling each type of question. I break problems down into manageable parts, explain the reasoning clearly, and encourage you to ask questions at every stage. This method helps students understand not just the “how,” but also the “why” behind the maths.

Teaching Style:

I use a lot of practice questions, particularly exam-style ones, because I believe the best way to improve is by applying the methods directly. I will often demonstrate how to approach a question, then support you as you try similar problems yourself, offering feedback and tips along the way. I also encourage students to bring their own questions or homework problems, as working through what feels most difficult often builds confidence the fastest.
