Fardeen Siddiki

I’m Fardeen Siddiki, a Mathematics graduate with a strong background in algebra, calculus, trigonometry, and statistics. I tutor GCSE and A-Level Mathematics, including Further Maths, as well as Physics and Chemistry at GCSEs. In my tutoring, I focus on helping students genuinely understand the ideas behind the methods rather than just memorising them.

I’ve always seen mathematics and the sciences as more than just numbers, formulas, equations or symbols: it’s a language that explains how everything fits together. Whether it’s patterns in nature, decisions in finance, or the logic behind technology, maths and the sciences underpin it all. That’s what makes it so exciting to teach: showing students how the same ideas they learn in class appear everywhere around them. I try to pass on that sense of curiosity and appreciation, so they see maths not as something abstract, but as a tool that helps make sense of the world, and use the sciences to do so.

I interweave guided examples, supported practice, and independent work to help students build genuine understanding and confidence. My lessons are structured to move gradually from explanation to application, allowing students to see the reasoning behind each method before tackling problems on their own. I also make a point of connecting topics across different areas of maths, so students can recognise patterns, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and approach exams with clarity and assurance.

I also provide support with mathematical reasoning, revision techniques, and effective calculator or spreadsheet use for applied questions, and can provide coding support.
