Farah Siddiqui

With over 30 years of teaching experience across the UK and international schools, I specialise in GCSE, A-Level. I have worked extensively with a wide range of students — from those rebuilding confidence to high achievers aiming for top grades.

My lessons are structured, focused and exam-smart. We begin by identifying precisely where gaps or misconceptions lie, then build understanding step by step before applying skills to exam-style questions. I place strong emphasis on clarity of method, problem-solving technique and recognising patterns within exam questions.

Alongside subject expertise, I incorporate a coaching approach to help students develop independence, resilience and exam confidence. Many students struggle not only with content but with self-doubt, time management and performance anxiety. I support them in building effective revision habits, structured thinking and a calm, methodical approach under pressure.

For A-Level students in particular, I support both conceptual depth and exam strategy — helping students move beyond memorising procedures to genuinely understanding the mathematics behind them. This not only improves grades but builds long-term confidence.

Lessons are tailored to individual needs. Some students require patient rebuilding of foundations; others benefit from challenge and extension. I adapt accordingly, ensuring each session has clear objectives and measurable progress.
