My 1st speaking activity will be Model comprehensible language in which I will expose students to complex language, but without scaffolding. I will speak slowly and clearly and avoid idioms. I will use shorter sentences and simple tenses when possible. I will give examples of what I want students to do and model the academic language I want students to use. Rephrase my instructions multiple ways and use synonyms, gestures, and demonstrations so students would have more than one chance to catch my meaning. 2nd speaking activity would be visual support in which handwritten notes or interesting video presentations will be delivered. Because this is an effective way to memorize and understand the language well.
