Faith Olaniyi

I am a passionate and skilled early childhood educator specializing in teaching preschoolers and lower elementary pupils. With a strong foundation in literacy instruction, my greatest strength lies in teaching reading through Jolly Phonics, a proven, multisensory approach that helps young learners build solid phonemic awareness and decoding skills. My lessons are designed to be engaging, interactive, and developmentally appropriate, targeting children in their formative years—typically between the ages of 3 to 8.

My teaching is aimed at:
• Preschoolers and early primary students who are just beginning their literacy journey.
• Struggling readers who need a structured and phonics-based approach.
• Parents and schools looking for effective early reading instruction.
• Learners in bilingual or English-as-a-second-language (ESL) settings, where clear phonics instruction is crucial.

My lessons are fun, engaging, and tailored to each child’s learning level. I use a structured format that includes phonics, sight words, reading aloud, and comprehension activities. Lessons are interactive—incorporating games, storytelling, songs, and visuals to make learning exciting and effective.

Each session typically follows this flow:
1. Warm-up (sounds, letters, or word games)
2. Main lesson (new concepts or skills)
3. Practice time (reading activities, writing, or interactive tasks)
4. Review & feedback (praise, corrections, and encouragement)
