I have completed placements in 2 different primary schools, totalling around 16 weeks. I try to make my lessons structured but not so word-heavy to give pupils more time to have a go. As cliché as it sounds, the more mistakes you make, the more you can learn, so I try to instil that in the pupils wherever I go.
I can teach maths, science and English well. I try to allow pupils to tell me their journey to the answer and to help them along the way by asking questions to test their reasoning. They explain to me what they have done and why, rather than just trying to copy what they see,
