Faezeh Mehraban

My experience of working with students varies from high school to primary school. I spent one year as a educational mentor in Year 4 class, then a year 10 class. My role involved classroom support in various subjects, planning and delivering interventions for students who were below their expected target.

My most recent role involved working on a one-one basis with a child with Special Educational Needs, as well as providing general support to the class as a Teaching Assistant.

I like to utilise different resources when teaching, especially with subjects like maths where learning can be contextualised. The use of visual aids and/or mini whiteboards can be useful in creating a child-centred approach to teaching.
