I am a native speaking English teacher. I use my first lesson to get to know my student - determine their goals and what they hope to achieve from the lessons and build my lesson plan around their needs - My classroom is very interactive - I use a lot of visual material as well as videos and music. I believe that learning should be fun and that its ok to make mistakes as long as you don't give up.

I like to teach 1 topic at a time and have a lesson plan as a guide. I usually incorporate some activities as well as additional " homework" for practice and consolidation.

i have 5 years' experience doing corporate training and coaching and I have a semester worth of experience teaching children who struggle with reading and phonics.
