I tailor my lessons to each student’s individual needs, offering fun and engaging music lessons that inspire you to keep progressing, no matter where you are on your musical journey. Lessons are carefully structured yet flexible, ensuring you feel supported while still being challenged at the right pace.

Each session typically includes a balance of technique, repertoire, musicianship, and creative exploration. We will work on developing strong foundations, building confidence and understanding the music you are playing, not just how to play the notes!

I encourage questions, curiosity and active participation, creating a relaxed and positive learning environment where mistakes are seen as part of the process.

With over 15 years of teaching experience in both schools and private settings, I have worked with students of all ages and abilities. This has helped me adapt my teaching style to suit different learning approaches and goals, whether you are a complete beginner, returning to music or preparing for exams and performances.

I am currently studying for an MA in Music Education, allowing me to combine proven teaching methods with up to date educational research, ensuring lessons are effective, engaging and enjoyable.

Alongside teaching, I am an active composer, which enriches my lessons and keeps my approach practical and relevant.
For students interested in music production and songwriting, this means lessons can explore how ideas are developed into finished pieces, from initial inspiration through structure, harmony and arrangement.
