I enjoy interacting with the students through a variety of ways, in particular questioning and finding out the true meanings of the topic or issue at hand in order to gain a firm competence and understanding. I am also a strong believer in retrieval learning and the idea that repetition leads to reinforcement when it comes to revision for exams.

I would also say that I support the idea of independent learning and struggling at first in order to overcome the stress of failure and learn from any mistakes naturally as this will lead to a memorable process to solve the question at hand in the future.

My lessons will be online and I will make use of various technology available to make the lessons as interactive as possible. Sheets and the work required will be sent in advance of the lesson to allow for a smooth and efficient use of time and the marking can be done through photographic evidence as well as in-app marking which is instantaneous on most apps.

To conclude, my aim is to make sure that the student ends up in a more comfortable situation than they were in before applying for the classes. I would like the student to feel as if they have uncovered an answer or method independently with guidance in the right direction when required, resulting in a positive mindset towards education and motivation to pursue topics that interest you for use later in life in future employment and the wider world.
