I will tailor each lesson for you: please let me know what subject area(s) you want to cover and any specific ways you'd like to be taught prior to a lesson. I'm happy to teach content to you, go through practice questions, or help with revision and active recall - whatever will help you alongside your studies. With revision for GSCE and A Level exams, using your time effectively is key, so I will tailor lessons completely to use your time effectively for study. This is why I request you inform me of the subject area(s), broad or specific, that you would like me to cover, as this give me time to prepare teaching material and ensures your time is used efficiently to cover the content you need support for.
I will complete all lessons online, as this provides more flexibility for both of us and also does not limit me to only teaching in my local area. This will be done through a call on Microsoft Teams. I may use visual aids such as PowerPoint slides if that is something I think is necessary to teach, or if you tell me you learn better through visual aids and reading text. I will also use practice questions to test your understanding of the topic as well as your recall skills. I can also provide advice for revision techniques outside of my lessons, such as practice questions, practice mock papers, and creating/using revision materials.
I have no formal experience with tutoring, but I achieved A*AA at A Level, so I understand multiple methods of teaching and effective revision.
