Hi, I'm Evie – a certified English teacher from Colchester, UK!

I've been teaching English as a foreign language for around a year, working with both adults and younger learners at a range of levels. Most recently, I supported French prépa students preparing to enter higher education, helping them build confidence and practical language skills for academic life.

I’m certified by the University of Essex to teach English as a foreign language and have experience teaching in person, but I’m now expanding to offer engaging, effective online lessons to students around the world.

My teaching style is friendly, fun, and completely student-focused. I believe learning is most effective when it’s practical and tailored to your needs. Whether you’re looking for general English support, conversation practice to boost your fluency, or more intensive exam preparation, I’ll adapt our lessons to match your goals and learning style. I make sure to get to know each of my student's personal support needs before we dive into the wonderful world of language learning - so rest assured you will be supported every step of the way!

I speak Welsh and English fluently, and have basic French skills, so I understand the challenges (and joys!) of language learning from the inside.
