I tend to structure my lessons much like an Oxford tutorial. I will set material to be read over in advance or in the first few minutes of the session, this may be language or literature based. I will then ask the student to talk me through their ideas. My task is to fill in gaps, correct mistakes and push new and innovative ways of thinking. I tend to structure my lessons much like an Oxford tutorial. I will set material to be read over in advance or in the first few minutes of the session, this may be language or literature based. I will then ask the student to talk me through their ideas. My task is to fill in gaps, correct mistakes and push new and innovative ways of thinking. I will also assist with written work and taking writing skills and eloquence to the next level. I am very happy to adapt to the method that my students learn best and will discuss this in an initial consultation session.
