In my lessons, I always aim to create a comfortable and encouraging environment where students feel confident to speak, ask questions, and make mistakes—because that’s how real learning happens. Depending on the student’s needs and goals, I tailor the format of each lesson to make the most of our time together. For younger students, I often use interactive activities, games, and storytelling to keep things fun and engaging. For older students and teens, I include more structured content like reading comprehension, writing practice, speaking exercises, and grammar review—often tied to real-world topics that spark interest and conversation. I also believe that the best way to learn a language is through conversation so I often encourage my students to speak as much as possible during the lesson and not be afraid to make mistakes. My experience working with students both in international school settings and independently has taught me the importance of flexibility, patience, and clear communication.
