Eve Connolly

I am a professional coach, author and therapist. I live in the South East of Ireland, where I work both in-person and remotely.

I have written a series of short stories that have been published in various anthologies.

I am at my happiest when I am being creative. I love to work with people and help them to explore their creative journey. For some time, this process was confined to my work as a therapist and short story writer; however, my love of language inspired me to share the joy of self-expression and self-exploration through teaching English in a way that is satisfying, results based and most importantly, creative. I work one-on-one and with groups.

I believe that learning a second language encourages us to explore a new and vivid landscape. It gives us a deeper understanding of another culture as well as an opportunity to explore our own in new and different ways.

I use dialogue, imagery, role play and conversation to help develop vocabulary and conversational skills in ways that allow people to enjoy learning and exploring their unlimited creativity.

I also speak Irish Gaelic and French.

My Academic Background

Honours degree in Social Science (BSW hons) from University College Cork (2006)

Honours diploma in Journalism and Broadcasting from the Irish Academy of Journalism, Dublin (2004)

Therapeutic Riding Coach graduate of Festina Lente Equestrian Learning Centre, County Wicklow (2019)

I have also undertaken further training in Theraplay, Drama Therapy, Life Story Work and Narrative Therapy.
