My lessons are structured, focused, and fully tailored to each student’s needs and goals. I begin by identifying key areas for development, whether that’s understanding content, improving essay technique, or building exam confidence, and then design sessions around those targets.

Lessons typically include a mix of discussion, close reading or analysis, exam-style practice, and personalised feedback. I encourage active thinking and questioning, and I aim to make complex ideas feel manageable and engaging.

I’ve taught students from a range of exam boards and backgrounds, helping them achieve top grades and gain confidence in their own voice. With a BA from the University of Cambridge and a Master’s in progress, I bring strong academic training and a calm, supportive teaching style that helps students feel motivated, capable, and prepared.

I make sure each lesson builds on previous progress, using regular assessment and reflection to ensure improvement. I also provide helpful revision resources, essay planning support, and tailored exam preparation strategies.
