Eva Humphry

I am new to tutoring and am most interested to find out the ways in which you learn best and shaping my lessons to you. I am experienced in hosting trainings and workshops so my lessons will be interactive, encouraging and engaging.

I am experienced working with children with complex needs, as well as mentoring adults with hands on activities. And so, I am keen to work with people of all ages and abilities. Please don’t hesitate to ask me questions about this.

I have also recently been through the school system so remember the challenges many people face with classroom teaching. I overcame this through independent learning to achieve way beyond my teachers expectations and I hope to help others receive the same kind of rewarding experience.

Our lessons will be shaped to fill in the gaps traditional teaching has missed and take the pressure off standardised achievement goals. I will work with you to achieve the personal objectives that you set yourself, as well as boosting your confidence in desired areas. Whether you’re passionate about Maths or not, I am confident that you will feel proud of yourself once completing a course with myself. If your passions lie elsewhere, I will look to incorporate our learning goals into my lessons in a way you will find interesting and memorable.

I also have a First Class university degree from the University of Manchester so am confident in my academic abilities.
