I use the 2017 CCEA revised specification for maths and I am able to teach M1-M8. I prefer if students have a white board and white board pens as i find that a lot easier than just using paper. Its also preferred that students have a printer so that I can send over worksheets and past papers to assist with the learning. I believe that the way to top grades in maths is constant practice and I highly recommend that along with the homework that your child school has set them that they should also be doing homework from myself as constant recall is key to success. I will usually set one past paper or a few work sheets that shouldn't take any more that 1.5 hours to complete. I also ask that the student is prepared to use their tutoring time efficiently as I think it's important that they achieve their full potential and don't wish to waste time. As a student myself I am very flexible as i work around my school schedule and I am able to tutor after school (Monday Tuesday and Wednesdays) and also on the weekends.
