I have around 1 year of previous online tutoring experience, which I thoroughly enjoyed before stopping in order to focus on my A Level exams. I achieved 2 A*s and 1 A, in addition to achieving 7 9s and 3 8s at GCSE. My sessions will be mainly focused on helping students achieve their dream exam results, as I believe every student has the possibility to go up multiple grades and achieve a 9/A*. However, it is important that students understand what their exam board wants and how to best prepare for exams, which is why my lessons will be tailored towards this purpose. For my A Levels I attended a college where most of my learning in the lead up to exams was independent, meaning I had to learn for myself the exam technique and how to translate knowledge into high-scoring answers. I believe this has taught me valuable skills which I hope to pass on to other students who wish to secure the best grades they can. Lessons will be split between covering content, general exam technique and specific topics/exam questions that many students may stuggle with, so that my students be confident on performing really well on questions where many will lose marks. I also feel that it is vital that the student's needs be listened to, and lessons will be tailored towards the specific needs of each student so that they can get what they want out of each session, by focusing on specific topics/questions that they would like to improve on.
