Lessons typically last an hour (or around 30-45mins for younger students). When online, having the student and their instrument clearly visible is preferable. If for the introductory session the student could briefly describe their current aptitude and prepare any piece/song their most comfortable with, I can assess were to continue from then. I typically teach either the ABRSM syllabuses or general lessons in the chosen instrument/study. If anything else, just ask!
