Hello! My name is Esther, and I am a passionate and dedicated mathematics tutor based in Edinburgh. I enjoy helping students build confidence in maths and discover that they can succeed with the right support and guidance.
Mathematics has always been one of my strongest subjects. I achieved a Gold Award in the Scottish Maths Challenge and have consistently performed well in mathematics throughout school. I also have experience supporting younger students with their learning, helping them understand topics that they previously found difficult. My lessons are personalised to suit each student's learning style and goals. Whether you're preparing for National 5 exams, need help with homework, want to improve your problem-solving skills, or simply want to become more confident in maths, I'll create lessons that are engaging, supportive, and easy to follow. I believe learning should never feel intimidating. I explain concepts step by step, encourage questions, and use plenty of worked examples and practice questions to make sure students fully understand each topic before moving on. My aim is not only to improve grades but also to help students develop confidence and enjoy mathematics.
I offer online lessons, making it easy to learn from anywhere. and I am also available for in-person tutoring in and around Edinburgh where suitable.
