I start by getting to know you and asking if you have specific methods that work well for you. From there I’ll tailor each session to what’s best for you. Generally we’ll start with an introduction to the topic we are covering then go more into detail about said topic. There’ll be some interactive activities to help deepen your understanding then I’ll leave you with a small task to do in your own time to consolidate your knowledge before our next session. My experience teaching small kids at a summer camp in America really helped me develop my skills to suit all ages. It taught me patience as everyone learns differently and I took that and brought it back to England where I tutored some family members who received very good grades. This experience with family first helped me to know what’s best not just for the student but for me also and how best I can help the student achieve their goals and write the best that they can. Not every lesson will be the same, some more free flowing than others depending on what were covering and how much we’ve covered previously. By the end of our sessions when your ready for exams or whatever your working towards you should be miles ahead of where you’ve started and ready to tackle whatever lies ahead. Overall I’m am excited and passionate to start tutoring in this capacity and helping students achieve their greatest potential to achieve the best results.
