Planning your next academic year? See the OFFER going until the 15th OF JUNE (last 9 spots available)
With more than 6 years of teaching experience, I am dedicated to adapting each lesson to suit your unique needs and musical goals. Whether you’re just starting or looking to refine your technique, I combine traditional Russian school methods, Suzuki and Rolland with more contemporary, creative teaching approaches and my own performing background to create a dynamic and engaging way of learning.
I am also stylistically flexible and enjoy working across different musical worlds - from classical to folk and other contemporary styles - allowing each student to explore the sound and repertoire that resonates most with them. My students have achieved great results in the ABRSM exams and, if this is something you would be interested in, we will build a clear and realistic plan to guide your progress through the coming months.
I offer lessons for students of all ages — from children to teenagers and adults. For younger learners, especially from the age of 7 onwards, I have had very positive experiences working with the support and supervision of a parent during the class. This collaboration helps create a calm, encouraging environment and allows progress to continue smoothly at home — even if the parent has no previous musical knowledge. For adults, I truly believe it is never too late to start learning an instrument. Beginning the violin later in life can seem challenging, but it is absolutely possible and deeply rewarding. Many of my adult students find that regular practice becomes a meaningful part of their weekly routine.
In addition, I offer online group music theory classes. There are currently spaces available, so if this is something you would be interested in, please feel free to get in touch for more information.
As a First-Class graduate of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and an active performer with several chamber orchestras and the Quartet Calders, I bring my professional playing experience directly into my teaching. I have a deep passion for sharing music and truly enjoy working with both adults and children. This time of year is ideal for settling into a focused and consistent learning rhythm, making it a wonderful moment to begin or renew your musical journey.
Having learned from some of the most renowned pedagogues of today — including Mimi Zweig, Lutsia Ibragimova, Dora Schwarzberg and Boris Kuschnir — I have an expansive and carefully curated list of materials to help each student progress efficiently and with confidence.
Every student is different, and I ensure that my lessons reflect this. At the end of each lesson, you will receive tailored materials to help you make the most of your practice time between sessions. These include practice plans, exercises, and small recommendations for listening or reading that you can share with family and friends. This structure helps your progress remain steady and motivating, whether you practise independently or with the support of a parent.
I am currently offering a range of lesson packages - from structured annual plans to more flexible options - designed to support different levels of commitment. These offers are available UNTIL THE 15th of JUNE. To start the new academic year with an organised schedule to achieve your goals!
Having taught online for several years, I know how to make virtual lessons just as focused, engaging, and personal as in-person ones. My aim is for every lesson to feel inspiring, clear, and productive.
Start with a free 30-minute consultation, where we can talk about your goals and how we can work together. Explore my lesson packages and take the first step towards building a strong and meaningful musical routine.
